Daily duties: Kitchen Help: Kitchen Help may include washing and re-shelving soiled dishware and glassware, emptying garbage, sweeping and mopping floors, wiping down food service tables, cleaning appliances, chopping vegetables, and assisting the cook. The kitchen area, at times will have high humidity and temperatures. Prep duties, making pies and breads may be required. You'll be trained. Cooks: someone with cook experience and in fast paced restaurant, culinary school graduates. You may be working as kitchen help and cook when needed. Bus Person: this may include clearing and setting tables, mopping floors, helping the wait staff, refilling water glasses, working in the kitchen. Wait Staff: These positions require that you speak excellent English and include waiting on customers, answering questions, writing down lunch and dinner orders, serving food, dealing with U.S. currency, and possibly setting and clearing tables. Hostess/Host: Depending on your English level and the needs of your employer, you may be asked to do hostess duties. Hostess duties may include helping customers, seating them, taking their orders, using a cash register, keep hostess station clean etc.
Accommodation: You will be living in a large house with nine other international students. There are 5 bedrooms, two bathrooms, two large outdoor decks and a gas grill. The house is furnished and is three miles from work and 1/2 a mile from Lake Michigan. 100 USD/week
Food: You can purchase meals at work for $5 a meal. Otherwise you will be responsible for providing your own meals.

You may be asked to assist in other areas at your employer’s request so please be flexible.
