Daily duties: -Busser: Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of the Front-of-the-House including all tables, chairs, highchairs, floors and back-of-the-house including trays, trash, recycling, bus area and floors. -Housekeeping: This position ensures the comfort and needs of our guests with particular attention to cleaning and maintaining hotel guests rooms. -Kitchen Support: Rotational kitchen support roles include food prep station, dish station and salad pantry station. As the Food Prep Station Worker, the individual will assist the banquet chef in preparing various meal items for small and large events including assisting the other chefs in preparing for lunch and dinner meals. -Dish Station Support: Supports kitchen and dining room operations by cleaning dishes, utensils, pots, pans and other materials while maintaining the wash station area including machinery in a sanitary manner. -Dock Shop Attendant (*Very Strong English*): Work with other attendants to support the operation of our Dock Shop retail site by our pool and Lake Erie. Will greet members & guests, answer questions, help with sales of clothing and food items, operate cash register, light food prep to sell (sandwiches, wraps, salads), and keeping store clean and tidy. -Servers (*Very Strong English*): This position is responsible for coordinating the entire station and communicating with the front-of-house and back-of-house personnel to provide an exceptional dining experience by processing guests' orders and ensuring all items are prepared properly in a timely fashion to promote guests' satisfaction through the end of service. -Golf Course Maintenance: This position works under our Golf Course Superintendent to maintain the landscaping and course maintenance by walk mowing of greens, tees, and around green and bunker complexes. This position requires the raking, digging and use of various hand tools along with keeping up with watering of the grounds.
Additional information: Some perks: One of our outdoor pools is available to all staff on Mondays, making purchases at the Dock Shop Retail Site on Mondays, 20% off retail apparel, access to fitness center and employee meals at discount rate (Lunch/Dinner/Salad/Soup).
Accommodation: Monthly rate is $260.00 per month (Housing Fee) and shall be deducted from Employee's paycheck during Employee's seasonal term of employment with CIC. All utilities included in fee (including internet). Said deduction shall be in increments of $130.00 per paycheck (bi-weekly) with a one time, non-refundable cleaning fee of $40.00. Average two person per room. Facility is co-ed, but rooms are not. Remodeled motel with air conditioning, hotplate, kitchen utensils, microwave, refrigerator, single bed per student, bedding, pillow. Location is approximately one mile from worksite – students use provided bicycles as transportation.
Food: Employees have the ability to purchase employee lunch and dinner meals at a significantly discounted rate. Employees have access to facility amenities based on outlined days/times and with supervisor approval including swimming pools, tennis courts, golf
