Orderville
Orderville is a town in Kane County, Utah, United States. The population was 596 at the 2000 census. The town was founded and operated under the United Order of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. This system allowed the community to flourish for some time, but ultimately ended in 1885. Orderville was settled primarily by destitute refugees from failed settlements on the Muddy River in Nevada. When it was settled, Orderville included 335 acres of land, and contained 18 houses, 19 oxen, 103 cows, 43 horses, 500 sheep, 30 hogs, 400 chickens, and 30,000 feet of lumber. Daily duties: Staff will have to do all kinds of work. Pulling products from our freezer, working in the kitchen, baking, selling breads and pastries, take orders from our menu, work at the register, sell and serve from our beer menu, take stock counts and ordering ingredients for our kitchen, doing maintenance. Everybody cleans on the basis for the weekly cleaning schedule. Jobs will rotate but we will also look at who has what talents.
Accommodation: You will have a nice house available in Orderville 1/4 mile from the bakery. You will sign for the use of this house during your stay at $60/week. The payment will go to the owner of the house on a weekly basis. It has one room for two that share a queen size bed (ideal for couples), one room with two single bed and one room with two single beds plus a somewhat smaller than a queen bed size bed.
