Michigan

Lansing is the capital of the state of Michigan.
Bordering on four of the five Great Lakes, Michigan is divided into Upper and Lower peninsulas by the Straits of Mackinas, which link lakes Michigan and Huron.
Michigan ranks first among the states in production of motor vehicles.
The state produces important amounts of iron, copper, iodine, gypsum, bromine, salt, lime, gravel, and cement. Michigan’s farms grow apples, cherries, beans, pears, grapes, potatoes, and sugar beets.
With all the deadlines and obligations that fill your days, you need to make time to enjoy the simplest of pleasures. Like a sugar-sand beach, forests that explode with the most vibrant of colors, small towns that welcome you more warmly than a summer day and cities that stir your imaginations.
