Hampton Beach

Hampton Beach is located along the New Hampshire Shoreline within an hours drive to major cities such as Boston, MA, Manchester & Concord, NH and Portland, ME. Hampton Beach is only a 20 minute ride to the historical sea-port towns of Newburyport, MA to the south and Portsmouth, NH to the north. Hampton Beach is a village district, and beach resort in the town of Hampton, New Hampshire, United States, along the Atlantic Ocean. The community is a popular tourist destination and the busiest beach community in New Hampshire. Ocean Boulevard, the main street along the beach, includes a boardwalk, many shops and businesses, several seasonal hotels, and the Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom, which hosts national acts in the summer.

Part of a short 18-mile coastline, this spot is known as one of 4 „superstar beaches“ in the country. Boasting top honors for clean swimming water and a family-friendly atmosphere, Hampton Beach has become a must stop spot for many vacationers.

After relaxing on the beach, building sand castles or splashing around in the refreshing waves of the Atlantic Ocean, many visitors enjoy strolling along the mile long boardwalk and Hampton Center which is lined with fast food and full service restaurants, where seafood, onion rings and fried dough are bountiful. You’ll also find lounges (with nightly entertainment), candy stores, gift shops and mini golf and amusement arcades. The famous Seashell offers nightly concerts all summer long, and if that’s not enough, you can enjoy the weekly firework display every Wednesday night, right on the beach.

The Hampton Beach Seafood Festival has evolved dramatically, and has been acclaimed as „One of the Top 100 Events in North America“, by the American Bus Association in 1996, 2001, 2003, 2006 and 2007. Event attendance is now estimated as exceeding 150,000!
