Beaver Creek, CO

Beaver Creek is an unincorporated community in Eagle CountyColorado, United States. Beaver Creek is located immediately south of the town of Avon and encompasses the Beaver Creek Resort and adjacent business, lodging, and residential areas. 

Beaver Creek village boasts charm, character, and history. The town is most known for the Beaver Creek Ski Resort. It’s more or less one community with its downslope neighbor, immediately northern Avon. Combined they offer a slew of amenities, shop, restaurants and hotels.

Beaver Creek ski area operates on National Forest System lands under special use permit to the White River National Forest. The 30-year permit assigns a portion of the bundle of rights associated with land ownership to the permit holder. All lifts, ski trails, and facilities must be approved by the Forest Service in advance prior to construction.

The village itself offers up plenty of off-mountain activity with a great collection of shops, restaurants and spas, and at the center of it all, an outdoor ice rink. Take in a show at the beautiful Vilar Performing Arts Center, which features a wide variety of performance acts throughout the year. 

The activity doesn’t stop when the snow melts. During the green summer months, guests can explore the beauty of the natural environment and native wildlife on foot or bike via expansive trail systems, take in spectacular views on a scenic chairlift ride, enjoy summer concerts and festivals, or tee off at three championship golf courses.
