The Town of Walden is a Statutory Town that is the county seat of, and the only incorporated municipality in, Jackson County, Colorado. Its population is around 600. Walden is a small town in a beautiful Park, or valley, totally surrounded by spectacular and fun-filled mountain ranges. North Park abounds in outdoor activities, including fishing, hunting, mountain biking, hiking, boating, and snowmobiling. During the summer there is a lot of festivals. The North Park Never Summer Rodeo held each June is rich in Western and cowboy heritage, July is highlighted by North Park Day festivities and August is focused on the Sky's the Limit Hot Air Balloon Festival.

Daily duties: Waitstaff-front of house operations, greet and seat customers take orders and deliver beverages and meals as prescribed. Ensure that the front of house including all guest areas are stocked and well cleaned daily. Kitchen staff-back of house operations, washing dishes, preparing foods for cooks/chefs to properly prepare foods for customers. Maintain good health standards and cleanliness of kitchen and storage areas.
Accommodation: Housing provided in a shared situation with other students. Typically 2-4 people per room, private bath. Wifi provided and kitchen and laundry facilities provided. Rent is set at $60.00 per week per student with a cleaning deposit of $100 (will be returned if room is left clean with no damages.
Food: Discount provided at cafe for meals during work shifts. Students responsible for own foods otherwise.
