je četvrta država po veličini u Australiji sa 1,64 miliona stanovnika. Najveći procenat stanovnika živi u glavnom gradu Adelaidu. Južna Australija je poznata i kao država vina. Zemljište i klima ovog dela Australije stvara idealne uslove za gajenje vinove loze tako da ovo predstavlja raj za ljubitelje vina. Država je istovremeno dom mnogih kultura, preko 300000 stanovnika ovog dela Australije nije rođeno u Australiji.

Pre više od 40000 godina, Aboridžini su naselili ove prostore, i iako je dosta vremena prošlo od tada, ovo je država koja je sačuvala najveći deo aboridžinske kulture i tradicije. Teritorija koja danas predstavlja ovu državu ostala je britanska kolonija 1788. godine kao deo kolonije Novog Južnog Velsa. Pored toga što je kolonija zauzimala dve trećine kontinenta Australije, najviše je bila naseljavana njena istočna obala, što je slučaj i danas. Prošlo je samo 40 godina od ozbiljnijeg naseljavanja ove teritorije u modernom vremenu. Prvi žitelji južne Australije naselili su Kangaroo Island u julu 1836. godine.

Glavna industrija u Južnoj Australiji jeste prerađivačka. Glavni proizvodi su poljoprivredni/hortikulturni proizvodi uključujući i vino.

ADELAID

je glavni grad Južne Australije i predstavlja jedan civilizovan i miran grad sa oko 1,2 miliona stanovnika. Grad je podeljen na dva dela koje razdvaja reka Torens, Adelaid i Severni Adelaid. Grad je okružen predivnim zelenilom, planinama i plažama što pravi fantastičan pejzaž. Najpoznatiji je po izuzetnom vinu koje je svetski poznato. Adelaid je grad na koji je kultura Aboridžina ostavila najjači uticaj tako da je ovo mesto gde možete najviše saznati o najstarijoj civilizaciji Australije. Adelaid je okružen parkovima, istorijskim zgradama, širokim ulicama, raznolikim kafićima i kao takav, miran gradić, predstavlja totalnu suprotnost od Sidneja na primer. Postoji jedna izreka među stanovništvom a to je da je sa bilo koje tačke u gradu, do druge tačke, moguće stići za celih dvadeset minuta.

Najveće znamenitosti grada su: Adelaide Botanic Garden, National Wine Centre of Australia, Adelaide Oval, Victoria Square, South Australian Museum i tako dalje.

Adelaid ima najnižu prosečnu platu i najveću stopu nezaposlenosti od svih najvećih pet gradova u Australiji. Kada govorimo o nezaposlenosti, naglasili bismo da je u septembru 2014. godine ona iznosila 6,7%. Najtraženiji poslovi u gradu su u vezi obrazovanja i zdravstva. Ove industrije su trenutno u usponu i predstavljaju mogućnost zapošljavanja i imigracionog stanovništva. Ono što je prednost u odnosu na ostale gradove Australije jeste što je ovde život među najjeftinijima. Druge industrije koje uživaju veoma važnu ulogu u ekonomiji grada su bio-nauke, inžinjering, IKT industrija, medicinsko istraživanje, turizam i industrija vina.

  • Adelaid je osnovan kao kolonija za slobodne žitelje i jedini je glavni grad koji je bio naseljen slobodnim doseljenicima od svog osnivanja.
  • On je dom najvećeg broja prikaza aboridžinske kulture i artefakta. Oni su izloženi u muzeju Južne Australije, kao i na Tandaniji – nacionalnim institutom za aboridžinsku kulturu.

is the fourth largest country in Australia with 1.64 million inhabitants. The largest percentage of the population lives in the capital Adelaide. South Australia is also known as the country of wine. The soil and climate of this part of Australia create ideal conditions for growing vines, so this is a paradise for wine lovers. The country is home to many cultures at the same time, over 300,000 inhabitants of this part of Australia were not born in Australia.

More than 40,000 years ago, Aboriginal people inhabited this area, and although a lot of time has passed since then, this is a country that has preserved most of Aboriginal culture and tradition. The territory that today represents this state remained a British colony in 1788 as part of the colony of New South Wales. In addition to the fact that the colony occupied two thirds of the continent of Australia, its eastern coast was the most populated, which is the case even today. Only 40 years have passed since the more serious settlement of this territory in modern times. The first inhabitants of South Australia settled Kangaroo Island in July 1836.

The main industry in South Australia is manufacturing. The main products are agricultural / horticultural products including wine.

The city is divided into two parts separated by the Thorens River, Adelaide and North Adelaide. The city is surrounded by beautiful greenery, mountains and beaches which makes a fantastic landscape. It is best known for its exceptional wine, which is world famous. Adelaide is a city where the Aboriginal culture has left the strongest influence, so this is the place where you can learn the most about the oldest civilization in Australia. Adelaide is surrounded by parks, historic buildings, wide streets, various cafes and as such, a quiet town, is the total opposite of Sydney for example. There is a saying among the population and that is that from any point in the city, it is possible to reach another point in as much as twenty minutes.

Adelaide has the lowest average salary and the highest unemployment rate of all the top five cities in Australia. When we talk about unemployment, we would emphasize that in September 2014, it was 6.7%. The most sought-after jobs in the city are related to education and health. These industries are currently on the rise and represent employment opportunities and an immigration population. What is an advantage over other Australian cities is that life here is among the cheapest. Other industries that enjoy a very important role in the city’s economy are bio-science, engineering, ICT industry, medical research, tourism and the wine industry.
